CAMP PHILOSOPHY:  In the short 17 years of existence, the UMD Lacrosse team has won 11 UMLL championships, competed in 7 national championship tournaments, and produced several All-American lacrosse players. Not only does UMD celebrate their success on the field but is also dedicated to the development of lacrosse in the state of Minnesota. The entire UMD coaching staff currently lives and works in Minnesota.

The BULLDOG LACROSSE CAMP focuses on teaching lacrosse and the instruction of each player. Through individual, small group and team situations, we teach players what it takes to improve their game and become a dominant player.

Throughout camp, all players will not only be taught how to improve as a lacrosse player, they will be introduced to all facets of the game. Strength training, proper nutrition, and recruiting will all be covered during the five days at camp. Along with all room and board, three meals a day, and instruction from experienced coaches, all players will receive a camp reversible. Several prizes and awards will also be given out throughout camp.

"Twin Cities Top 200"

Ryan Ward, Head Coach at Eden Prairie and a professional player in the NLL, is offering three summer opportunities to benefit the players & coaches.

1. Twin Cities Top 200 Lacrosse Camp with Ohio State Head Coach Nick Myers, Best Defender in the World Brodie Merrill & other top Div I instructors. This is an instructional camp for 7-12 graders June 14-15-16-17 at EPHS turf fields & will be the best value camp in the Twin Cities. Fee: $249. Click here to download an informational brochure with all the camp highlights.

2. In conjunction with the Top 200 Camp we are holding a FREE Coaches Clinic Monday June, 14th 6pm-8pm at the EP Community Center. This will be a great opportunity for coaches (all levels) to learn how to develop a productive practice plan, get some new drills, or just talk lacrosse.

3. Youth Lacrosse Camp for players ages 7-13 July 12-13-14-15 at EPHS.  This camp will introduce lacrosse to new players and get them excited about playing. (equipment can be rented for $25/ week). This camp provides experienced players the instruction to improve their skill-set, knowledge, and confidence. A great value offering a 4 day camp, jersey, prizes, turf fields, for $150.

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps
will be returning to Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, MN for their annual lacrosse camp  They will be hosting a boy’s camp July 19-22 for day campers. Camp is open to ages 8-18 and campers will be divided into three groups by age and ability.

Former St. John’s University (MN) Head Coach, Mark Hellenack will return to direct this GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp. Mark had an illustrious career at St. John’s, taking the team from a 5-8 season in 2003 to a 10-1 season in 2004 and 13-1 in 2005, winning the UMLL Championship each year. In 2005 he led the Johnnies to the MDIA National Championships and a final ranking of #2 in the Nation that year. With over 25 years of coaching and administration, there is little Mark hasn't done. He founded both the youth and high school leagues in Minnesota, and founded the Minnesota Chapter of US Lacrosse. In 1997 & 1998 Mark won back to back High School State Championships. In 2004 Mark was inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Our camp staff is comprised of top local high school and college coaches and players who are dedicated to the individual development of each camper and serve as great role models to the campers. We are an instructional teaching camp and take pride in the improvement of each camper that we see during the week.
